Arrival New Delhi – Agra (215kms/5hrs)

Upon arrival at New Delhi airport or railway station, embark on a road journey to Agra and check into your hotel. Along the way, visit Sikandara, the mausoleum of Emperor Akbar. Later, experience the sunset at the iconic Taj Mahal, built by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan for his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. If arriving on a Friday, the Taj Mahal will be visited during the sunrise the next day. Conclude the day with a visit to the majestic Agra Fort, showcasing royal residential palaces and beautiful gardens. Rest overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, embark on a visit to the historic capital of the Kachhawaha Rajputs, Amber Fort. Along the way, pause for a photo opportunity at Hawa Mahal, known as the palace of wind. Then, explore the City Palace and its museums showcasing textiles, costumes, arms, and paintings. Conclude the day with a visit to Jantar-Mantar, the observatory constructed by Maharaja Jai Singh-II. In the evening, delight in the sound and light show at Amber Fort. Rest overnight at the hotel.
